Ingredients

• 12 oz tequila (blanco, 40% ABV)
• 8 oz fresh lime juice
• 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
• 6 oz sparkling water (decarbonated)
• 4 oz simple syrup (1:1)
• 1/2 oz Campari (bitter modifier)
• pinch of sea salt

Method

1. Decarbonate sparkling water by pouring into a bowl and letting sit 15 minutes, or stir vigorously for 2 minutes.
2. Combine tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, decarbonated sparkling water, simple syrup, Campari, and salt in a pitcher and stir well.
3. Pour mixture into Ninja Slushi pitcher up to the 64 oz max fill line (you'll have ~54 oz total).
4. Set machine to Spiked Slush mode and start freeze cycle.
5. Freeze for 45–55 minutes until slush reaches desired consistency; dispense and serve immediately.

Garnish: Grapefruit wheel and tajín salt rim
