Serves 10 · Sized for Ninja SLUSHi FS701 (96oz mix)
Ingredients
- VESSEL A — Coconut Dream:
- 24 oz Dr Pepper (room temperature)
- 12 oz coconut cream (pre-chilled)
- 8 oz pineapple juice (pre-chilled)
- 2 oz simple syrup
- VESSEL B — Lime Snap:
- 20 oz Dr Pepper (room temperature)
- 16 oz fresh lime juice (pre-chilled)
- 8 oz water (pre-chilled)
- 3 oz simple syrup
- ½ tsp citric acid (optional, brightens lime)
Method
- Pre-chill all ingredients to 35–40°F. Decarbonate the Dr Pepper by stirring vigorously or letting it sit uncovered for 5 min — this prevents overflow during freeze.
- Pour Vessel A (Coconut Dream) into the LEFT pitcher: 24 oz Dr Pepper + 12 oz coconut cream + 8 oz pineapple juice + 2 oz simple syrup. Stir until combined (44 oz total).
- Pour Vessel B (Lime Snap) into the RIGHT pitcher: 20 oz Dr Pepper + 16 oz lime juice + 8 oz water + 3 oz simple syrup + citric acid. Stir well (47 oz total).
- Set both vessels to SlushAssist. Start the freeze cycle — both chambers run in parallel and should reach slush in ~18–22 min.
- When the tone sounds, use the dual-dispense handle to twist the two flavors into a single glass (50/50 Coconut–Lime pour recommended), or pull each side separately for flavor contrast.
Garnish: Lime wheel + toasted coconut rim
