Ingredients

• 12 oz bourbon (Buffalo Trace or similar)
• 4 oz simple syrup (1:1 sugar/water, cooled)
• 32 oz cold water
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 oz orange juice (fresh)

Method

1. Combine bourbon, simple syrup, water, bitters, and orange juice in a pitcher and stir until the syrup dissolves.
2. Pour into the Slushi vessel — 49 oz, leaves freeze headroom for the higher ABV.
3. Run Spiked Slush mode at the highest setting.
4. Dispense into rocks glasses; finish each with an expressed orange-peel oil.

Garnish: Orange peel + brandied cherry
