Ingredients
- 16 oz fresh lemon juice (about 8 lemons, or bottled)
- 24 oz blackberry juice or blackberry-pomegranate juice blend
- 16 oz water
- 6 oz simple syrup (1:1 sugar-to-water, pre-made or dissolved)
- 1/2 tsp fresh lemon zest (optional, for garnish prep)
Method
- Combine lemon juice, blackberry juice, water, and simple syrup in a large pitcher and stir well.
- Pre-chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (cold ingredients freeze faster).
- Pour into the Ninja SLUSHi pitcher up to the MAX FILL line (64 oz — you'll have about 62 oz total).
- Set the machine to **Slush** mode and start.
- In 35–45 minutes, the mix will reach slush consistency (you'll hear the churn pitch change). Serve and enjoy.
