Ingredients
- 12 oz silver tequila (100% agave, not mixto)
- 8 oz fresh lime juice
- 20 oz cold filtered water
- 8 oz allulose syrup
- 0.5 oz orange extract (alcohol-free) — replaces the orange-liqueur in a classic margarita
- Pinch of fine sea salt
Method
- Combine tequila, lime juice, water, and orange extract in a pitcher.
- Whisk in the allulose syrup until fully dissolved. This is the critical step: without it, this recipe is ~2% Brix and the machine refuses to freeze (below the 4% floor). Stevia and erythritol don't work as substitutes — only allulose lowers freeze point like real sugar does.
- Add the pinch of salt. Stir.
- Pour the 48.5 oz total into the Slushi vessel — sits comfortably under the FS301 64 oz mix line.
- Run Spiked Slush mode. ABV lands around 9.9% — well under the FS301 cap of 16%. Freezes in 35–50 min.
- Dispense once the auger pitch deepens. Rim the glasses with sea salt if you're fancy.
