Ingredients

Method

  1. Stir both Skittles packets into the cold water until fully dissolved — no chunks. The packets are flavor + color only, no sugar.
  2. Whisk in the 6 oz of allulose syrup. THIS is what makes the machine actually freeze. Sugar-free Skittles mix alone reads ~0 Brix and the compressor refuses to engage below 4 percent sugar by volume (your machine beeps + flashes a downward LED sequence). Allulose is the only no-calorie sweetener that lowers the freeze point the same way real sugar does — stevia and erythritol do not work.
  3. Add the pinch of salt if using. Stir.
  4. Pour the 48 oz total into the Slushi vessel. Stays well under the FS301 mix line (64 oz) and even the FS300 (48 oz).
  5. Run Slush mode at the standard freeze setting. Allulose recipes freeze 5-10 minutes slower than sugar-sweetened versions because allulose crystallizes more gradually — give it 35-50 minutes.
  6. Dispense once the auger pitch deepens. Kid-safe (no glycerine, no alcohol, no fake sweeteners that flag the machine).

Garnish: 3 actual Skittles on the rim (optional, for kids)
