Ingredients
- 16 oz fresh pineapple juice (strain pulp; or 16 oz canned unsweetened pineapple juice)
- 24 oz Sprite or 7UP (decarbonated — let sit open 20 min or stir vigorously)
- 16 oz water (cold, from fridge)
- 4 oz simple syrup
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional, enhances sweetness)
Method
- If using fresh pineapple, juice it and strain through fine mesh to remove pulp. Chill in fridge.
- Decarbonate the Sprite by letting it sit uncovered for 20 minutes or stirring briskly for 30 seconds.
- Pour pineapple juice, decarbonated Sprite, cold water, and simple syrup into the Ninja Slushi pitcher. Stir gently to combine.
- Set machine to **Slush** mode. Press start and wait 35–50 minutes until the churn sound deepens and slush reaches your desired thickness.
- Dispense into cups and garnish. Serve immediately.
