Ingredients
- 16 oz strong brewed black tea, chilled
- 20 oz bourbon-style ginger ale (non-alcoholic), decarbonated
- 12 oz fresh orange juice
- 8 oz simple syrup (1:1 ratio)
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.25 tsp Angostura bitters
- 2 oz maple syrup
- Pinch of sea salt
Method
- Brew strong black tea (4-5 tea bags in 16 oz hot water), then chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Pour ginger ale into a cup and let sit open for 10-15 minutes to release carbonation.
- Combine chilled tea, decarbonated ginger ale, orange juice, simple syrup, lemon juice, bitters, maple syrup, and sea salt in the Ninja Slushi pitcher.
- Stir gently to fully dissolve all syrups and bitters.
- Set machine to Slush mode and run for 35-50 minutes until slush consistency is achieved.
- Dispense into rocks glasses and garnish.
