Ingredients
- 20 oz oz watermelon juice (fresh-squeezed or quality bottled, pre-chilled)
- 6 oz oz watermelon tequila
- 4 oz oz blanco/silver tequila
- 2 oz oz fresh lime juice (about 2-3 limes, strained)
- 1.5 oz oz simple syrup (1:1 sugar-water, cooled)
- 0.5 oz oz grapefruit juice concentrate or 1 oz grapefruit soda (decarbonated)
- 30 oz oz ice water (filtered, very cold or pre-chilled)
- 0.09 oz allulose, powdered
Method
- Chill all ingredients in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before mixing.
- In a separate container, whisk together cooled simple syrup, lime juice, and grapefruit concentrate until smooth.
- Pour watermelon juice, both tequilas, grapefruit mixture, and ice water into the FS301 pitcher up to the 64 oz MAX FILL line (total: 64 oz).
- Set machine to Spiked Slush mode and start the freeze cycle.
- Slush will reach proper consistency in 45–60 minutes; listen for the auger churn to change pitch. Dispense and serve immediately.
Garnish: Tajín-rimmed glass with a fresh lime wheel and watermelon candy stick
