Ingredients
- 24 oz root beer (decarbonated)
- 16 oz vanilla cream soda (decarbonated)
- 8 oz bourbon cream liqueur (e.g., Bourbon Barrel Cream or similar)
- 12 oz heavy cream
- 4 oz simple syrup (1:1 sugar/water)
Method
- Decarbonate the root beer and cream soda by pouring into a wide bowl and stirring vigorously for 1–2 minutes, or let sit uncovered for 20 minutes.
- In a pitcher, whisk together the decarbonated root beer, cream soda, bourbon cream liqueur, heavy cream, and simple syrup until fully blended.
- Pre-chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Pour into the Ninja Slushi pitcher up to the 64 oz max fill line.
- Set the machine to Frappé mode and run for 40–50 minutes until the texture reaches a creamy slush consistency.
- Dispense and serve immediately with a straw.
Garnish: Whipped cream + maraschino cherry
