Ingredients
- 32 oz root beer (decarbonated)
- 16 oz heavy cream
- 8 oz whole milk
- 4 oz vanilla syrup
- 2 oz simple syrup (1:1 ratio)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Let root beer sit open for 15 minutes to release carbonation, or stir vigorously for 1 minute
- In a separate container, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla syrup, simple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined
- Pour decarbonated root beer into the mixture and stir to combine
- Pour entire mixture into Ninja Slushi pitcher (should be around 62 oz, well below max fill line)
- Set machine to Frappé mode and start; slush will be ready in 35-45 minutes when the churn audibly changes pitch
- Dispense and serve immediately
Garnish: Whipped cream and a cherry on top
